Promotion of Organic
and Biodynamic Agriculture

Promoting the principles and practices of organic and biodynamic agriculture across all agricultural sectors through training, awareness, and capacity-building programs, with a focus on quality, control, and inspection systems.

Standards and Regulations

COAE works to implement and ensure compliance with international and national standards and regulations related to organic, biodynamic, and Economy of Love (EoL) agriculture, including Egyptian Law No. 12 of 2020, EU Organic Regulation 2018/848, Demeter International Standards, EoL requirements, Participatory Guarantee Systems (PGS), USDA National Organic Program (NOP), Japan Agricultural Standards (JAS), and other recognized international frameworks such as Naturland and Bio Suisse.

Awareness and Outreach

Raising awareness of the principles and practices of organic and biodynamic agriculture through various methods and frameworks, while highlighting their role in sustainable development and their positive impact on individuals, society, and the environment.

National and International Cooperation

Collaborating with local, regional, and international organizations to support accreditation, certification, validation, verification, and sustainable agriculture initiatives.

Certification and Verification Activities

Providing registration, inspection, certification, validation, and follow-up services for farms, processing and packaging units, and production facilities involved in organic, biodynamic, and EoL products, in accordance with applicable general and specific regulations.
